“Huge menu, friendly service, and tons of gluten free options!”
“Food tasted awful, spoiled meat, burned egg rolls.”
“Most tranquil and relaxing place to eat in Gainesville, family like atmosphere.”

I never would have gone in if I judged from the neglected parking lot and unwelcoming entrance. Reviews and my husband’s recommendation saved this place for me so we gave it a try… Atmosphere and view of water feature was amazing! Variety on the menu was beyond belief, vast selection of items from several Asian cuisines. Food preparation was nice, everything tasted as expected and pretty good. Service was a little slow and disorganized, though. Got a star back for the breathtaking view and affordable prices.

We found this gem with so delicious foods ever. We have been to Tampa and Orlando for many Asian restaurants, but nowhere can compare to this place. Their food and service are the best. And the view was so relaxing after a long drive. We were a happy camper with good food, service and beautiful view.

There are so many options I wanted to try but not so many that I was overwhelmed if that makes sense. This is more of an authentic cuisine menu, than an American fried food experience. Our waiter was very helpful in making sure we knew what we were ordering. 1st – oxtail soup. I chose to get it spicey at a Thai level (9/10) It didn’t disappoint! It’s such a delicious, rich dish and certainly enough for me to have left overs. 2nd – shrimp pad Thai. We chose this one mild. It was very fresh and just a classic authenticity. It’s noteworthy in that it is executed perfectly. Lastly, the sushi rolls. They were tightly wrapped in a comfortable size both in roll and cuts. They were very fresh in flavors. The name of the roll pictured escapes me but it was overwhelmingly packed with cilantro. The Red Lady (California roll with tuna on top) was light flavored and refreshing.

5 Reviews on “Chopstix Cafe”
The best pan Asian restaurant in Gainesville for decades!
SUPERB!!!!!
The food was so delicious, I loved everything we had and now one of my favorite spots.
Excellent food first class quality and service!
Chopstix has tasty food served by kind, attentive waitstaff. I asked for no cilantro on my pho, but they didnt serve onions in it. Then I asked for onions and they charged me $2 of “open food” for an onion cilantro mixture? Maybe just keep the two separate? Also $2 for an herb and topping? The atmosphere is nice but sound travels easily, could hear eve
