It’s been a while since we’ve been at the Fishy Fishy Cafe and we are so glad we went back this week! Our waitress Gabriel was amazing! This was our first time docking here with our new Yamaha AR195 boat and pulling up to the free dock was nice, that was the main reason we stopped there, but was not expecting such a great experience all the way around. Since COVID eating out has not been the best with staff shortages and all the other issues going on right now, but at the Fishy Fishy there was nothing like that! Our food came on time and Gabriel never let our drinks get anywhere close to empty. Best waitress ever! About our food… My wife and I were both starving so we ordered an appetizer and got the wonderful calamari with 3 different sauces, hard to pick which one was our favorite, they were all so good and an added bonus was banana peppers battered and deep fried mixed in with the calamari! For our meals we both ordered the fish and chips and that was even better! The beer battered cod was just right, not overly done covering up the fish and not too salty like most places serve fish and chips. Best of all, not over cooked, it was perfection. Both my wife and myself raved all day about the slaw, it was beyond dreamy! We are both very picky about our coleslaw and this one was top shelf!
For our first boat dock to a restaurant we could have not had a better experience, we will for sure go back there next time we our out that way! I’d sing an entire album for Fishy Fishy! And I’d have to sing for them, “Love Our Life!”
