Wee Nam Kee Hainanese Chicken Rice Restaurant

Recommended by son, as I have not heard of this chicken rice before. (I am not a chicken rice fan)
And was surprised with the high rating. So we went with high expectations.
Rice was fragrance and came quite a small portion.
The roasted chicken meat was soft and tender. The sauce was too sweet for my liking.
At least there are some dishes that we can order beside eating chicken meat.

Enjoyed the chicken rice and dishes. The chilli with ginger was fantastic. Roasted chicken meat was delicious. I usually judge the chicken rice by the soup and this was tasty too. I asked if I could top up the soup and they said yes! I like my chicken rice with gizzard and liver and was happy to have these options. We added crabmeat omelette and prawn fritters which were yummy too. Recommended. Will be back if I need another filling of chicken rice.
