A super cool trendy spot located in Chinatown area. pretty nice spot located on the Chinatown area. We didn’t get a chance to eat dinner (had reservations elsewhere) but will need to make reservations for dinner next time. We were able to enjoy some cocktails. The Infinity (Japanese whiskey, chrysanthemum, apple, and yuzu salt) and Harmony (Bourbon, jasmine rice milk, peanut) were two really great drinks. The Infinity was served up and the Harmony served on a rock. The bartenders were very friendly and nice.
This is $$$$ NOT $$$. Also, this is NOT for traditional Chinese food. Refined interpretations of Chinese food in a low-lit hip environment with modern music. The crowd was well-dressed and on the younger side. The fried rice with lobster was divine and so was the Eternity cocktail! The waitress was nice and knowledgeable and food arrived quickly. Four stars because from a Michelin restaurant I expected something beyond good food. Highly recommended for a date (maybe not a first date) or a special night out with friends. Tip: go to the bar upstairs after dinner. Attire: smart casual or smart. I’ll be trying the Peking duck when back!
Pros: Everything we ate was tasty. They had an eggplant dish that is the best eggplant I have tasted in my life. The interior is elegant and the staff were nice.
Cons: it’s a Michelin star so it’s expensive and small portions. The rabbit/fish were tasty but personally I would rather buy a steak at the price point. The interior of the restaurant is quite loud.
