Went here on a whim and ignored the very few low ratings…glad we did!
The food is AMAZING! Servers are nice and helpful, place is clean and cute, and drinks are crisp and fresh. Pork and shrimp mofongos are a hit! Alcapurrias were hot and tasty!
It is upstairs and you must show your proof of vaccine. Street parking and some nearby lots are available.
Make a reservation since the place is small. Will return soon!
Great service. The food was pretty good. Beans were delicious. My only complaint was that the chicken mofongo was really dry because they used fried chicken on top of the plantain mofongo. I feel it would be much better if it were paired with a stewed chicken to balance the natural dryness of the mashed plantains in the mofongo or some type of salsa. The base of the mofongo was delicious. The little corn fritters (surrulitos) were delicious. The tostones were perfect. Seasoned perfectly. Loved the virgin piña colada’s. Very homey Puerto Rican food. Gracias 🙏🏼
