Best restaurant in Salt City Market! Always delicious and fresh. Definitely try the curry chicken patty and jerk chicken. Check this place out if you’re hungry

I work at salt city market at another stall and wanted to try something different for dinner so I went to Erma’s Island and ordered the jerk chicken pasta…omg. I am loving every bite of my dinner tonight. It’s delicious!!

To be honest, its not Brooklyn Jamaican food but it’s pretty good for Syracuse. Trust me lol I know Jamaican flavors and this one was missing just a slight of it. So yes, you should go there but if you’re from NYC, you will see the difference.

I’ve loved everything I’ve tried, the sauce the ox tails are in has to be one of my favorite things. The Rasta Pasta is a nice change of pace and very tasty

Had the chicken roti and beef patty. The patty is very good. The curry chicken and roti skin was tasty too. One star off though for the quantity. Definitely skim portions for $12. I’ll be back though because it’s the closest authentic ethnic food Syracuse have compared to the islands and Brooklyn.

Had the chicken curry. Just enough spice. After eating I was so relaxed I started to drowse off. That’s what I call comfort food.

Had their Jerk Tilapia special last Friday and it was INCREDIBLE. Definitely recommend it if anyone gets the opportunity.
