Asked them for a combo that offered a vegetarian and meat option and they recommended the 50/50 combo. I didn’t know what that was but ended up going with a spicy lentil dish and this beef stir fry well done. I was pretty hungry at this point and when I went up to pick up my food from the counter I realized holy cow how big the proportions were. I didn’t expect that much food for a single person. What I got was probably going to easily feed two people. The combo also came with like 2 pieces of Injera bread. I also realized after completing the last Injera that I am able to go and ask for more Injera with my meal. The food was so much that I ended up needing to pack the leftovers in a box and they were also nice enough to give me two more extra Injera breads to go home. What I also don’t realize was how tasty the food is as leftovers. After I went for a late evening run around the city and returned back to the hotel I finished all the leftover lentil and beef stir fry. The Injera bread soaks up all those delicious spices and pairs so nicely with the lentils and beef. This is definitely one of the more memorable experiences of this trip to Washington D.C.
