A vast majority of the students are ready and eager to learn at the next level. Their arrogance may get in the way of them learning more but they do work hard. This was a four month sub assignment so there was a lot to experience. Having taught in other countries these students seemed ready to compete at the upper managment/lower executive levels with a few outliers to the top and one or two to the bottom. The lead administrator needs to be (and probably will be) replaced soon, but the faculty and staff are very capable. The teachers were very strong educators and the focus on outcomes filters down. The teacher’s lesson plans demonstrated an exact expectation of outcome and the students’ behavior reflected that intensity of purpose.
