We have now been coming to the French for around 3 years. This is not something we do often; return to the same restaurant on multiple occasions. Here is the thing about the French. It’s the treatments of proteins and vegetables. The balance of flavour and texture. The wine and cocktail menu. You’re not going to find anything like this elsewhere in Hamilton. If you’re looking for value for your money it is here. Franco-fare done effortlessly, urban, vivacious, warm and current. This is the place you bring people for memories together over delicious wine and food.
Perfection from start to finish. Lovely staff, romantic ambiance, and the food was to die for. We had oysters with homemade sauces, beef tartar, gnocchi (the best I’ve ever had) and the monkfish which was really unique in flavour. Dessert was a chocolate praline bar with flaky salt and raspberry sauce… so good! They also paced everything really well which is appreciated. Love this place 🙂
