I ordered the pork chops with the side of fufu and black beans, and my fiance got the oxtail stew with a side of black beans and boiled yuca.
He was a little sick so I ended up having most of the food myself over 2 days.
One of the pork chops was nice and tender but the other was quite dry and rubbery. Hard to chew. I really really loved the boiled Yuca though and also the black beans. Some of the best black beans I have ever had periods so flavorful and just so addictively good!
The fufu was also really nice. Quite a good flavor on that as well.
As for the oxtail stew.. It was really boasting with flavor but also really oily. I tried to take only the meat part of and dress out the oil with paper towels as well. Flavor did remain though so it was good.
What dessert I ordered the guava and cheese pie as well as the coconut flan. The flan was so smooth and soft and just perfectly sweet and just right. Definitely recommend this.
Fiance really really loved the pie! He had a lot of it even though he was sick haha
I had also ordered a side of the Cuban toasted bread but it didn’t come with the order so I was a bit sad.
They did give me a refund when I called though, so I was grateful about that.
Overall a good place though!
