The food was beautiful. The attention to detail, texture and taste was second to none. What really stood out were the additional touches. The smoked creme fraiche with choux pastry with craquelin was absolutely spectacular and the butters were sublime. Every course was exceptional and the accompanying wine paired perfectly with each one. Personally I found dessert a little disappointing, as if they don’t have a pastry chef and a regular chef made dessert. It was fine, just didn’t have the same flair as the other courses and I remember thinking the same when we got the takeaway menu.
Overall an incredible experience, we will definitely be back.
